How could you describe your career path in few words ?


I graduating from faculty of engineering Machinary and electric power department Helwan University , first job was in Zaki Al Sewedy Group as sales engineer in Egypt for four years I learned a lot of things that shaped my character as a sales engineer.


Later on I was offered to work with Energya Group as sales sector manager and product manager for ABB product it was a small journey but full of experience. After that I move to the best company ever that made my name and made by personality with the best managers you can find in the world I moved to Schneider Electric.



What was your most challenging experience and it has changed your mindset ?


During seventeen years of working with different clients, there were many challenges that I faced, but the most challenging I faced was during my early years as a sales engineer, many clients and many different cultures and personalities, and how I could deal with all different types of people in my style and my way, and how I could let him feel that I am interested to help him and solve the problems that he might meet. I also remember the first lesson I learned, and I remember it till today, the main aim of sales job is customer always first.



What’s the most important key success factor for you based on your experience ?


For me, it is the relationships. The relationship between you and the client should not be only in business and the potential opportunities that you can get from him to get a larger volume of business, the relation between you and your customer must go deep and transform to be a friendship out of formal business , this transformation will keep the good relation and break the ice, also will give you a high credit at your client.



What would be the major pitfall that may undermine the success of a leader ?


Simply it’s the micromanagement it’s the worst thing that undermine the success of a leader you have to give your team the space and chance to prove them self and learning a new skills, participating in decision making and share their opinions to let them built trust in themself. you have to respect them and always praise and commend your team in front of every one let them make mistakes and you solve you are a leader so act like a good leader.
